Scholarships

Greater opportunities for all

Northeast Residence is proud to be able to offer two scholarships to deserving employees to assist with tuition expenses and schooling supplies.

The Ken and Marion Owens Scholarship Award I - up to $1,000

Applicant is pursuing a career in a formal program or trade

Applicant is regularly scheduled to work at NER at least one shift per month (minimum status of part-time varied)

The Ken and Marion Owens Memorial Award II - up to $2,000

Applicant is pursuing a career specifically related to the care of individuals with developmental disabilities

Applicant is regularly scheduled and must continue to work at NER at least an average of 7 hours per week (minimum status of regular part-time)

Additional information for the scholarships include:

Applicant must have been employed with NER for one year prior to start of the 2012-2013 school year

Applicant intends to be enrolled in a program for the 2012-2013 school year

Assistance will enhance applicant’s potential to succeed

Maximum of two Scholarship Awards total per employee

Applications must be completed and submitted by May 21, 2012
